@vladyg: #surfwisconsin @denisguba: @vladyg that beach is actually on the michigan side #surfmichigan :) @vladyg: darn it, i tried @will_bergmann: we watch this cam up here in winnipeg too...awesome @denisguba: @will_bergmann where do you usually surf? duluth? they had some awesome surf lately, lake superior that is. @will_bergmann: @denisguba we usually just stick to lake winnipeg. waves aren't as good as superior, but we can mess around in some really nice stuff. a true science to finding them up here. the lake is so shallow that there's no sustain...as soon as the wind is gone, so are the waves. @will_bergmann: @denisguba but...lake winnipeg is so big (especially north basin) that there is a lot to explore. check out a vid some dudes made last summer... on youtube. search "big lake surf" it's a 17min documentary. @denisguba: @will_bergmann wow awesome video! i guess i'm pretty blessed to have lake michigan only 30 minutes away. just looking for my own "secret spot" i shouldn't be complaining :) i just work to much need to make more time to get out there
